History of the Show and 2024 Participating Artists + Brands

The first Makeup Show was at the Metropolitan Pavilion in May 2006, and the show has been growing in popularity ever since. In 2024, The Makeup Show offers some of the best indie and corporate brands in the beauty industry, including MAC Cosmetics, Pat McGrath Labs, Danessa Myricks Beauty, NUDESTIX, MOB Beauty, MAKE UP FOR EVER, Kryolan, Alcone Company, Ardell, OMNIA, Rokael Beauty, and TEMPTU Pro, among many others.

Some of the artists presenting at the show are Rokael Lizama, Danessa Myricks, Jeanine Lobell, Joe Dulude II, T. Cooper, Ashunta Sheriff-Kendricks, James Vincent, and Lijha Stewart, among others. There are more than 90 pro, celebrity, and indie brands participating in the 2024 NYC show.

The Perfect Pitch Sessions are held in The Makeup Show Pro Resource Area, and enables artists to bring their portfolios and business materials to the show for review by industry experts and brands looking to hire artists. Artists will gain valuable feedback, career inspiration, and even a fresh career opportunity.

Your show ticket includes access to the exhibitors show floor, Danessa Myricks Beauty International Stage, and 40+ free sessions, including Demo Stage, Seminar Stage, and all the Main Stage presentations. The only additional fees are for the IN the Studio hands-on workshops, Business of Beauty sessions and the Artists United event.
