Here is all the mayhem behind Melanie Martinez’s new perfume of four fragrances collection, Portals Parfums, which Sold Out in Under 48 Hours… For the pre-sales which launched at 11:00 a.m. on November 1, 2023, Melanie Martinez’s fans also known as the Earthlings (according to Melanie Martinez), were waiting on this masterpiece and this collectible art-meets-fragrance. Martinez partnered up with Flower Shop Perfumes Co to create the second perfume, Portals Parfums, which came in the wake of her same-named third studio album, debuting at #2 on the U.S. Billboard 200 when it was released last March. Melanie Martinez’s new album, Portals, multi-platinum recording artist Melanie Martinez, and her new four-fragrances collection, Portals Parfums have once again won the fine-tuned successes.
Previously, Melanie Martinez released Cry Baby Perfume Milk in honor of her 2016 debut studio album Cry Baby, which also quickly sold out. The Cry Baby Perfume Milk is now available on reseller markets for up to $2,000 a bottle. Portals Parfums was ‘Like Cry Baby Perfume Milk’, uniquely packaged in a replica vintage baby bottle.
The Portals bottle is a visually striking art sculpture at a full one-foot tall, with a many-eyed creature head that opens like a nesting doll to reveal four glass vials inside. Martinez teamed up and designed her Portals fragrance collection with IFF perfumers, Natasha Côté, Patty Hidalgo, and Laurent Le Guernec.

I had the pleasure of experiencing these addictive aromas of four parfums and the four bottles of 60 ml total (15 ml each) in Eau de parfum spray for $275. In addition, individual refill vials (15 ml) and full-sized bottles (50 ml each) in eau de parfum will follow in 2024. These fragrances were carefully and thoughtfully developed in the energy and music of Melanie Martinez’s mystical world. The four fragrances share a scent experience in each bottle that takes you on a mental trip. The bottle design is truly evidence that it is a collectible work of art within the fragrance world.
